Discovering Life with Meaning and Purpose at Mountain Citadel
- SOLDIER/ADHERENT TRAINING:
Learn the history of the Salvation Army, what we believe and the role we play in the world today. Training/information sessions are held as required.
Carelinks enriches the fellowship of those who worship at Mountain Citadel and increases the likelihood that individuals will receive ministry at a time of need.
- THE UPPER ROOM:
During the morning Worship Service, members of this group gather to pray throughout the service for those in need of prayer, special needs, the ministry of our Corps Officers and for any personal requests made.
- USHERS & GREETERS:
This special ministry reflects a wide variety of people from many age groups who are dedicated to making the receiving of the "tithes and offerings" and the outstretched hand of "welcome" an act of genuine worship.
- CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER CHAIN:
This ministry ensures that anyone with illness or concern is continually prayed for by a dedicated group of prayer warriors.
- BIBLE STUDY GROUPS:
We have a number of Bible Study groups, of differing ages, operating within our congregation.
- COMMUNITY CARE (League of Mercy)
8 nursing homes are visited by our Community Care volunteers.
- EVERYBODY MATTERS (Shut-in Ministry)
This ministry offers the opportunity to visit homes of members of the church who cannot make it out on a Sunday to our worship service. This is one of the most important and gratifying ministry positions available.
- TECHNICAL MINISTRIES:
This ministry consists of volunteers who operate the audio and visual systems in support of the Worship Services and technically support the other activities of the Corps.
